Spilled Chili & the Hot Sauce Horns is an eight-piece horn-driven party band from Eastern Iowa, bringing a high-energy mix of rock, pop, funk, soul, and dance favorites to the stage.
Featuring lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, trumpet, trombone, and saxophone, the band combines a powerful rhythm section with a three-piece horn section to create a big, energetic sound.
Our repertoire spans decades and genres, mixing recognizable crowd favorites with horn-driven arrangements and our own twists on familiar songs. The goal is simple: great music, a fun show, and an audience that wants to stick around for the next song.

The Sound

Our shows feature music made famous by artists across several generations, with songs ranging from classic dance-floor favorites to rock, soul, funk, and pop. Rather than simply reproducing the original recordings, we look for opportunities to feature the horns, add interesting arrangements, and make the songs our own.
Expect recognizable music, strong vocals, tight grooves, big horn lines, and plenty of personality on stage.
